Abstract in
Bahasa IndonesiaDi beberapa sekolah selain mutu dan sarana sekolah, yang terpenting adalah prestasi yang pernah diraih oleh sekolah tersebut. Untuk mendapatkan prestasi disaat lomba tidaklah mudah harus diperlukan persiapan yang lama. Persiapan mental dan pengetahuan yang akan dilombakan. Sekolah tidaklah mudah untuk mengirim siswanya guna mengikuti lomba karena ini membawa nama harum sekolah baik tingkat lokal maupun tingkat nasional.
Proses untuk siswa unggulan didalam sekolah tentu saja pasti melibatkan banyak pihak. Dengan memperhatikan hal tersebut, maka penentuan siswa unggulan yang optimal dan baik sangatlah mempunyai peran yang penting untuk diikutsertakan mengikuti lomba mewakili sekolah.
Salah satu metode yang dianggap mampu membantu dalam kasus ini adalah metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Konsep dari metode ini adalah mengidentifikasi masalah yang kompleks, mengelompokkan permasalahan tersebut kedalam kelompok – kelompok sehingga dapat dibentuk hirarki permasalahan yang terstruktur.
Dalam tugas akhir ini, akan diterapkan metode Analytical Hierarcy Process (AHP) untuk melakukan proses penentuan siswa unggulan pada SMAK ST.LOUIS 1 Surabaya.
Abstract
Beside quality and facilities of the school, the most important value that the school must have is the achievement. To gain the achievement in a kind of competitions needs a lot of preparations, including preparations of mental and knowledge. It is not that easy to send students to join competition, because it will influence the school name and popularity in the region and national level.
Education process for excellence students in one school needs involvement of many divisions. So that, determining the excellent students really takes an important role for the school in joining some competition.
One of the method that known and considering capable with this case is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The AHP Concept is identifying the complex problem, make groups on it, and build a hierarchy. So, with this hierarchy, the complex problem will be more structured.
This final task will apply the AHP method to determine the excellence student in St. Louis I Catholic Senior High School Surabaya.
