Abstract in
Bahasa IndonesiaProses industri dewasa ini semakin besar dan komplek. Hal ini dikarenakan tuntutan pasar dan persaingan antar industri yang semakin ketat. Banyak hal yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha menengah untuk meningkatkan produksi. Sebagian besar proses produksi yang menghasilkan suatu barang pada akhir produksinya selalu diakhiri dengan proses pengemasan. Tujuan dari pengemasan tersebut antara lain dapat dipasarkan dengan mudah, juga untuk menambah daya tarik untuk membeli hasil produk tersebut sehingga nilai atau harganya dapat naik daripada yang tidak dikemas.
Banyak sekali mesin pengemasan yang tidak bersifat otomatis. Dimana untuk pengoperasiannya memerlukan banyak prosedure yang dilalui dan memperlambat proses produksi.
Untuk itu diperlukan suatu rancangan sistem pengemasan agar dalam proses produksi didapat hasil yang lebih bagus. Dengan maksud agar sistem lebih bersifat otomatis dan tahan untuk proses produksi yang bekerja 24 jam seharinya. Salah satu sistem yang baik adalah dengan menggunakan Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), hal ini di karenakan PLC lebih fleksibel dan mudah untuk menggunakannya. Untuk memperkecil biaya produksi hanya diperlukan satu orang operator untuk menjalankan sistem ini. Bahan makanan yang digunakan berupa makanan ringan kacang atom sebagai contoh aplikasi.
Abstract
During 21st century, industrial process is develop and getting complicated. it is simply because demand of the market and strong industrial competition, many things have been done by manufacturer to increase the capacity of production. The big part of industrial process with a product for final outcome is always ended with packaging process. The purpose of packaging is to be easy to sell it, also to give more attraction for customer to buying the product so it can increase a value of the product higher than the product without packaging.
Many packaging machine do not automatically operated. Which is to operate them need procedures that must be completed and it is slowing the production process.
Therefore, packaging design system is needed. in order to obtain maximum production process. The purpose is to modernize system and durability production process which is running for 24 hours a day.
One of a better system is by using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), the reason is because PLC is more flexible and user friendly. In order to reduce production cost, the machines is only need one person to operate this system and for application sample is a nut.
