Abstract in
Bahasa IndonesiaSTIKOM sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang bergerak dibidang teknologi komputer, selama ini masih menggunakan cara semi manual dalam menyajikan laporan general ledger. Proses general ledger sudah menggunakan komputer tetapi laporan untuk pimpinan masih berupa dokumen cetak yang diolah secara manual dengan program sreadsheet berformat tabel. Untuk itu diperlukan sistem informasi eksekutif sebagai pendekatan yang terorganisasi dan terencana bagi eksekutif sehingga mampu memberikan kemudahan dalam proses pembuatan laporan keuangan secara cepat, tepat dan mudah.
Sistem Informasi Eksekutif ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi permasalahan yang timbul pada sistem lama, seperti penyediaan laporan rutin dari staff keuangan bagi eksekutif. Pada sistem baru ini, eksekutif bisa memperoleh laporan secara langsung pada perangkat komputer yang terhubung dengan sistem EIS di ruangannya. staff keuangan bertugas memasukkan data data transaksi rutin harian kedalam program general ledger dan selannjutnya semua laporan akan ditangani EIS.
Dalam tugas akhir ini penulis membuat sistem informasi eksekutif dengan mengubah format laporan, berupa dokumen menjadi informasi online, informasi tersebut dapat diakses antar komputer yang terhubung kedalam satu jaringan lan, sehingga eksekutif dapat mengakses informasi penting pendukung keputusan keuanagn secara tepat tanpa menunggu hasil cetak dari staff terlebih dahulu. Format laporan yang ditampilkan tidak hanya berupa tabel yang berisi angka angka, tetapi juga menampilkan informasi yang berupa grafik ( pie, tabular, garis dll) berkualitas tinggi dengan navigasi yang user friendly . Informasi yang dihasilkan akan lebih cepat, menarik dan informatif tanpa dituntut kemampuan yang terlalu tinggi tentang komputer bagi pengguna.
Abstract
STIKOM as one of the educational institutions in the field of computer technology, still use semi-manual way of presenting the general ledger report. General ledger process is using the computer but still report to the leadership in the form of printed documents are processed manually with program spreadsheet table format. It required an executive information system as an organized and planned approach to the executive so as to provide convenience in the financial reporting process quickly, accurately and easily.
Executive Information System is expected to reduce the problems that arise in the old system, such as the provision of regular reports for executive financial staff. In the new system, executives can obtain the report directly on the computer connected to the EIS system in the office. finance staff in charge of entering data into the daily routine transaction data program selannjutnya general ledger and all reports will be handled EIS.
In this thesis the author makes an executive information system by changing the format of the report, in the form of documents into information online, that information can be accessed between computers connected into the network lan, so executives can access important information decision support of financial appropriately without waiting for the prints of staff first. Report format shown not only in the form of a table containing numerical values, but also displays the information in the form of charts (pie, tabular, lines etc.) with a high-quality user friendly navigation. The resulting information will be faster, exciting and informative without being charged is too high ability of the computer to the user.
