Abstract in
Bahasa IndonesiaPerkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat telah menemukan sebuah alat yaitu GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, dimana alat ini dipergunakan untuk mengetahui posisi koordinat di bumi. GPS receiver sendiri menggunakan beberapa satelit yang mengorbit di bumi untuk menentukan keakuratan koordinat bumi. Selain itu juga telah diketemukan sebuah alat komunikasi yaitu Hand Phone dimana memungkinkan kita berkomunikasi baik percakapan atau hanya sebuah pesan text SMS (Short Message Service) dimana saja tanpa menggunakan kabel.
Microcontroller yang merupakan suatu komponen elektronika yang dibangun melalui teknologi semikonduktor dengan wujud yang relatif kecil juga dari segi harga terjangkau, sangat besar kemampuannya dalam pengendalian peralatan secara digital. Dengan menggabungkan antara microcontroller dengan GPS receiver maka terbentuklah suatu sistem penentuan lokasi kendaraan menggunakan GPS dengan pemanfaatan SMS sebagai komunikasi data.
Permasalahan dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk merancang dan membuat sistem untuk memonitor lokasi sebuah kendaraan bermotor diambil berdasarkan GPS dan dikomunikasikan dengan PC melalui SMS, kemudian oleh PC ditampilkannya dalam Map sesuai dengan Database yang dibangun.
Hasilnya adalah dapat mengetahui posisi dan memetakannya kedalam sebuah MAP.
Abstract
The rapid development of technology has found a device that is GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver, where the tool is used to determine the position coordinates on the earth. GPS receiver itself uses several satellites orbiting the earth to determine the accuracy of the coordinates of the earth. It also has found a means of communication ie mobile phones which allows us to communicate a good conversation or just a text message SMS (Short Message Service) anywhere without using cables.
Microcontroller which is an electronic component that is built through technology semiconductor with a relatively small form also in terms of affordable prices, great ability to digitally control equipment. By combining the microcontroller with a GPS receiver is formed of a determination system using GPS vehicle location with the use of SMS as the communication of data.
Problems of this final task is to design and create a system to monitor the location of a motor vehicle is taken in accordance with GPS and communicated with the PC via SMS, then the PC display in the Map according to the database is built.
The result is to know the position and mapping them into a MAP.
