Abstract in
Bahasa IndonesiaSistem informasi karyawan merupakan sistem informasi yang diperuntukkan bagi karyawan, dimana di lingkup lembaga pendidikan STIKOM Surabaya, sistem informasi karyawan ini telah ada sejak lama. Tetapi seiring perkembangan jaman, sistem informasi karyawan tersebut masih saja berjalan stagnan dan tidak mengalami perkembangan sedikitpun sehingga seperti tenggelam di dalam perkembangan jaman. Di dalam sistem informasi karyawan yang sekarang ini, masih terdapat kekurangan dan kelemahannya. Misalnya menu – menu yang seharusnya kurang diperlukan tetapi masih saja diikutsertakan, tampilan interface sistem yag kurang menarik sampai lamanya waktu yang diperlukan untuk mengeksekusi dan menjalankan sistem tersebut di dalam suatu sistem operasi (Windows, Linux). Laporan yang hanya berbentuk tabel juga menjadi kelemahan, membuat para pengguna kadang susah untuk memahami dan mengerti maksud dari informasi yang ditampilkan.
Sistem Informasi Cyber Campus Karyawan merupakan sebutan bagi sistem pengembangan dari sistem informasi karyawan . Memang sistem ini mirip dengan sistem yang sebelumnya, tetapi sistem yang merupakan pengembangan dari sistem informasi karyawan ini mampu mengatasi kekurangan dan kelemahan dari sistem informasi karyawan. Dan dengan tambahan-tambahan feature yang disediakan, (misalnya penyajian laporan berupa grafik dan dalam bentuk format excel) diharapkan mempermudah dan mempercepat kinerja dari karyawan, sehingga keefektifan kerja dapat terwujud.
Abstract
Employee information system is an information system intended for employees, where the scope of educational institutions STIKOM Surabaya, employee information systems have existed since long. But as world events, employee information systems are still running stagnant and did not develop at all, so like drowning in the development era. In the employee information system at the present, there are also shortcomings and weaknesses. For example the menu - the menu should be less necessary but still included, the display interfaces yag system less attractive to the length of time required to execute and run the system within an operating system (Windows, Linux). Reports that only shaped table also become weak, making the users sometimes difficult to comprehend and understand the purpose of the information displayed.
Cyber Campus Information System is a term for employee development system of employee information system. Indeed this system is similar to the previous system, but the system is the development of employee information system is able to handle the shortcomings and weaknesses of information systems employees. And with the additions provided features, (such as a graphical presentation of the report and excel’s format) is expected to simplify and accelerate the performance of employees, so the effectiveness of the work can be realized.
