Abstract in
Bahasa IndonesiaEvaluation should be conducted in every teaching and
learning process. Evaluation in educational institutions must be considered, so does STIKOM
Surabaya. STIKOM Surabaya carries out the evaluation activities at midsemester (UTS) and at the end of the
semester (UAS).
STIKOM Surabaya, as one of computer colleges in Surabaya provides courses of in accordance
with technological developments. Some of the courses are International certified courses. Certified courses
are courses that provide the International Certificate. One of the certified courses is Structured Query Language (SQL). Therefore, the question models for evaluating SQL subject is similar to the certification exam model. However, the
evaluation of the SQL course is different from the certification exam that uses computer technology.
The evaluation of SQL course is still done manually by
using paper. This condition is one of the obstacles that causes certification exam graduation rate is very low, because there is an influence on student mental at the time of Online certification exams.
Based on the above description, it should be made a
learning evaluation system for SQL course based on online. Online-based system can be a certification exam
simulation tool for students so that it can help students prepare for the certification exam. In addition, it is expected to help the lecturers
teaching SQL courses in the course evaluation process more effectively.
