Bahasa IndonesiaKorporat portal merupakan program yang mengintegrasikan berbagai informasi, baik dalam maupun luar perusahaan melalui sebuah aplikasi yang berbasis jaringan, baik lokal maupun internet (web) yang dapat disesuaikan tampilannya dengan kebutuhan pengguna (dipersonalisasikan). Sebagaimana Internet portal seperti Yahoo!, Netscape, Google, dan lain sebagainya yang merupakan portal bagi para netter yang ingin mencari informasi yang dibutuhkan.
Yang dikenal dengan korporat portal merupakan portal semacam ini. Namun memiliki ciri-ciri lebih spesifik, yakni hanya dimiliki perusahaan tertentu dan hanya dipergunakan untuk kepentingan perusahaan maupun rekannya, dalam rangka meningkatkan efektivitas serta efisiensi untuk mencapai laba yang paling maksimal dengan membuat antarmuka yang mampu menampilkan segala informasi yang diperlukan dalam sebuah tampilan yang user friendly.
Korporat portal memiliki perbedaan dengan world wide web (situs), yakni; Pertama, format data korporat portal memiliki bentuk yang sangat beragam dan dapat dibuka dalam waktu simultan, sedang situs hanya memiliki beberapa jenis data yang sudah tertentu dan umum digunakan. Kedua, isi korporat portal bersifat tematik, artinya semua informasi yang ditampilkan pada portal ini merupakan permintaan atas dasar analisa kebutuhan masing-masing bagian atau personal yang bersangkutan.
Permasalahan dari Tugas akhir ini bagaimana merancang bangun program web application corporate (korporat) portal untuk komunitas coldfusion yang diharapkan dapat menampung semua kebutuhan user ColdFusion di Indonesia, dengan menggunakan sistem keamanan bertingkat ACL serta kemudahan distribusi dan integrasi data dengan sistem workflow.
Abstract
Corporate portals are programs that integrate a variety of information, both within and outside the company through a network-based applications, both local and internet (web) that can be tailored looks with the needs of the user (personalized). As an Internet portal like Yahoo, Netscape, Google, and so forth, which is a portal for the netter who want to find the information you need.
Known as the corporate portal is a portal of this kind. But a more specific characteristics, ie only certain companies owned and only used for the benefit of companies and colleagues, in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency to achieve the maximum profit by creating an interface capable of displaying all the necessary information in a user friendly display .
Corporate portals have differences with the world wide web (site), namely: First, the format of corporate data portal has a very diverse and can be opened in time simultaneously, while the site just has some kind of data that is specific and general use. Second, is the thematic content of a corporate portal, meaning that all information displayed on this portal is a request on the basis of analysis of the needs of each section or the relevant personnel.
The problem of this thesis how to design build a web application program corporate (corporate) portals for ColdFusion community that is expected to accommodate all user needs ColdFusion in Indonesia, using multi-level security system ACLs and ease of distribution and data integration with workflow systems.
